From the Facebook news feed:

You know what’s better than finding Yogi Tea’s Chai Rooibos in the aisles of a supermarket? Finding Yogi Tea’s Chai Rooibos in the aisles of a supermarket on super sale! Cleared out the Whole Foods stock like a boss.

Just enrolled in my first big-kid (graduate) class. Nanomaterials bishhhhhh.

We just lost all of our data because of one cable.

I’m sick and I can’t sleep but doughnuts will make it all better, even if it is a GIF.
Reblog this post - ONLY once per blog! - and then you’re entered to win… a dozen donuts??Yes, fredflare.com is gonna overnight you a dozen donuts from my fave NYC spot The Doughnut Plant.

September round-up!

09/13 - Marc Broussard played Turner Hall. My friend restored his Ford ‘64 truck to its original colours and converted all that junk under the trunk (hood, rather) into a biodiesel engine. If you’re looking for a chick magnet, this is it—we stumbled upon several MILFs having a photoshoot with the truck in the parking lot.

09/22 - Cut Copy at Turner Hall. Favourite Australians.

09/26 - A Chicago adventure involving Beirut at the Congress Theater. Moar brass! Moar brass!

09/30 - Then there were free tickets to see Sound Tribe Sector Nine at the Riverside Theater. STS9 were a riot, but in case you didn’t know, the STS9 show also meant the International Bro Conference, dude.

This city has the key to my heart: music and beer. We will cross the line of groove again in October.
M: “You’re strange today.”
Me: “What’s strange?”
M: “I don’t know!”
…
Me: “It’s not because I’m happy is it?”
Apparently, cheery and me is such an anomalous combination it warrants suspicion. Maybe I should smile more.
Highlights from the TV on the Radio live broadcast and sold-out show at the Pabst Theater earlier tonight. Spectacular.
